R6V1 (Rainbow 6 Las Vegas) is a brilliant game. The combat speed is a little slower which is great if you're looking for something more realistic than run 'n gun.
The game is based mostly in and around Las Vegas which is fun. The lights and sounds make for a great atmosphere and there are plenty of things to duck and hide behind.
I really enjoy R6V1 because of the sneaking you should/have to do. Each action takes a second longer than most games making it much more fun to set up a good team formation to seek out the enemy team.
Another great option that is given in multiplayer is to play Co-op. When you and 3 other friends get together in a singleplayer mission and start taking out terrorists, it gives you a certain glee you cant get anywhere else.
I hold R6V1 high in my standards of First Person Shooters. The one large problem that has me want to throw my computer out the window is the fact that there are never more than 20-40 players online at one time.
This makes playing the online version long and tedious. Lack of players, lack of servers, lack of map variations. Unfortunately, this is enough to shy me away from playing the game even though I love it.
